About the Artist

Hey there, I’m Dana Palacio, the artist behind Wild Garden Art. I’m a watercolor artist based just outside of Atlanta in Smyrna, Georgia, where I create nostalgic, nature-inspired art from my little home studio. I specialize in botanical paintings and custom commissions—things like homes, pets, and people—that hopefully bring a sense of comfort, memory, and beauty into people’s lives.

Living with chronic illness has shaped the way I approach my art and my days. Slowing down, making with intention, and finding joy in small moments are all part of both my creative process and how I take care of myself. Painting has been a way for me to stay connected to my creativity while carving out an independent, meaningful path that works alongside my disabilities.

I share life with my husband, who’s my biggest supporter, and our senior dog (who’s still very much a puppy and will never age). When I’m not working on commissions or new collections, you can usually find me reading, watching TV, playing video games, junk journaling, or trying to relearn piano after a nearly ten-year hiatus.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my little world—I’m glad you’re here.
